Editor’s serving suggestion: Before you start reading, take a deep breath and clear your head. Don’t rush through the words; read each and every one. If you read this poem slowly enough, it will chill you out as much as meditating. Ready?

Cailin Chua (a.k.a. KuroKairin) is a digital artist from Singapore who also dabbles in writing. When she is not drawing, they may be writing (fan)fictions, game reviews, or even music.
Why we chose this piece: We love how Cailin plays with form to reflect her content. This poem is deceptively simple and made to be savored. The “and” getting thrown into the bin at the end is so satisfying. The understated humor works really nicely.
A poem that can with each word be visualised. Exquisite piece of art.
